Michael’s-U-and-Ü

I am a Dings_Sip_Toggle that shows the difference in the Frequency-Spectrum between the Phone [uː] and the Phone [yː].

Observations

• The Root-Tones of both have a Frequency of around 350 Hz (F4), where the Tone-Ü (Green) is slightly higher than Tone-U (Red).
• The Over-Tones are Multiples of the Root-Tone and for higher Tones the Differences between the Tone-U and Tone-Ü get bigger.
• The first Over-Tone with around 700 Hz has a higher Amplitide for Tone-U, which might be the Reason why this Tone sounds deeper than Tone-Ü.
